IADC members and Safety Professionals:
Join one of four Master Classes for BowTieXP Advanced in Singapore & Houston, Sept & Oct '07
Governors.B.V are a member of the IADC The members of the International Association of Drilling Contractors, who now have access to the unique and exclusive Advanced BowTieXP product to meet the new IADC HSE Case Guidelines, are being invited to join the second of two Advanced BowTieXP Master Classes in Singapore on October 1, 2, 3. The 2 Houston Master Classes are being conducted on 24-26 October and 29-31 October.
RPS' senior BowTieXP Consultant, Phil McKenzie, has received a request to conduct the training course. Phil has played a pivotal role in the preparation and submission in January '07 of the world's first oil & gas safety case using the IADC HSE Case Guidelines and the BowTieXP Advanced Edition.
The new October '06 IADC HSE Case Guidelines incorporates the use of qualitative risk assessment methods & bow tie models.
Governors' Managing Director, Serge Diekstra, said "The Master Classes are excellect opportunities for IADC members and safety professionals to engage the BowTieXP methodology and unique software.
"Attendees will learn how to create SOOB matrices and apply the many BowTieXP Advanced Edition features to build sections of a safety case."

Computer Based Training 'CBT' CDROM released for BowTieXP methodology and software
The BowTieXP CBT released Aug '07 We are pleased to announce the release of our Computer Based Training CD for the BowTieXP risk management methodology and software.
This product is not only suitable for current BowTieXP users, but will also assist potential users to evaluate the suitability of the methodology and software for their organisation.
Last year, Safety & Risk Practice (now proudly part of the RPS Group) was appointed by Governors B.V. (www.governors.nl) in the Netherlands as the exclusive global Official Training Solutions Provider for the BowTieXP methodology and software. While official activities (in conjunction with Governors) this year for the Perth office has included conducting 3 day Advanced Master Classes for BowTieXP in Amsterdam, Singapore and Houston, our major achievement has been the successful completion of the BowTieXP CBT.
Globally, this is the only training product of its type, with extensive training in the powerful BowTieXP risk management methodology, followed by detailed screen-by-screen demonstrations of the software functionality. The product also includes demonstrations of features of the Advanced Edition of BowTieXP.
RPS can now offer a training product to complement the 2 - 3 day training courses that we have been delivering, and will continue to offer to users of the BowTieXP methodology. (Note – though live training is always recommended, the CBT is available as a separate product). Multiple copies may be purchased to ensure availability to all users.
